I've purchased a Dragon Slayer in your Milton store for 10 months now, and I've been experiencing ongoing problems with both brakes. Every couple of months, one or both brakes fail on me. I've been taking it back to the repair shop in Milton where I purchased it, and they keep insisting that the brake pads need changing. They replace them, but within a month or so, the problem recurs. I typically only ride my scooter for about 40-50 kilometers per week. Is this level of maintenance normal? I'm not very knowledgeable about scooters, and I feel like they might be taking advantage of that.
On one occasion, I picked up my scooter after they changed the brake pads, only to find out that NONE of the brakes were working. They still charged me and let me take my scooter without confirming if the initial issue had been resolved. While the brakes seemed to work when I pushed the scooter, they failed to function properly when I rode it. I took it back and it turns out that a big part was broken and had to be changed. They changed to part on the front wheel, now 2 months later my front brake does not work at all again. Now I am riding with one brake again.
This is becoming a significant safety concern for me, and I'm genuinely worried about riding my scooter.
Please review the records, and you'll see the numerous repairs that have already been done.
I've lost confidence in the Milton store's ability to assist me; they haven't been helpful at all.
Please let me know what your thoughts are.
Thank you,
Timea Miko
